Sickness policy

Introduction  

The purpose of this plan is to set out the steps practitioners and Space 2BYou will make if you are unwell.   Space 2B you have a responsibility to inform all clients that the appointment will be cancelled.  

Practitioners process  

If you feel unwell and unable to deliver the arranged appointment you must contact Marie-Anne McKee, Alison Joyce and Barbara Johnson if possible before 9am or as soon as possible. Please call the number below and follow up with an email.

When you are fit to return to work. You must email Marie-Anne, Alison and Barbara.  

Space 2B you process 

When Marie-Anne, Alison or Barbara have been notified that you are off sick via telephone and/or email they will contact your clients to cancel the arranged appointment. They will inform the client that you will be in contact when you resume work.  

You will be required to keep Space 2B you updated with regards to your health and return to work plan. If you have not been in contact with Space 2B you for more than 7 days Marie-Anne, Alison or Barbara will arrange welfare contact via email. If the sickness is long term Space 2B you may discuss reallocating your current clients. Please see Client Reallocation Policy.
